Varsity and Junior Varsity Math teams to compete at Mercer and Rockdale

Hopefully November 13th will be a day to win a lot of trophies as 38 TSA mathletes head out to 3 different locations in search of success. Four Varsity students head to Mercer, while 18 varsity and junior varsity travel to Rockdale Magnet school in Conyers. Visit our blog in the next several weeks to see if we were successful!!

Berry College Middle School Math Meet - Nov.11, 2010

At 6:30AM, eight Middle School mathletes will go to Berry College to compete in Berry's semi-annual math tournament. Just 2 days later, on the 13th, 12 middle schoolers will travel to Rockdale Magnet School in Conyers, GA to compete in their tournament while 4 others will go to South Forsyth High School in Cumming, GA for a competition.

Fall Events

The TSA Math Team attended their first math meet of this school year at North Fulton. This was used as our warm-up meet because right after North Fulton, the Varsity and Junior Varsity math team attended the Luella High School math meet. Both teams returned with 2nd Place overall. David Dozier received 2nd place individual in the Junior Varsity division. The middle school math team holds the next spotlight for TSA math when they attend Berry College on November 11th. The next math meet for the Varsity and Junior Varsity will be Rockdale on November 13th, and some of the
Varsity members will attend Mercer University's meet on the same day. Also, the middle school math team will split up the same day with some attending Rockdale while others attend South Forsyth. November 13th will be a very busy day for the TSA math teams.
